1.5 lb Dead Blow Hammer with Brass Cap — Neon Orange Mallet
Product description
What’s included: a dead blow hammer with a steel-shot filled head and a brass-capped face plus a non-marring rubber striking option suitable for delicate work.
Construction and materials: the hammer head is packed with steel shot to deliver force while preventing rebound and eliminating sparks on impact. The outer faces include a brass cap and a rubber face that protect finished surfaces. The body is formed as a unibody, poly-molded assembly that reduces wear at the head/handle junction and improves durability compared with two-piece designs.
Use cases: designed for automotive bodywork, sheet metal forming, woodworking, gunsmithing and general shop repairs where you need to avoid marring or causing secondary damage. The compact head sizes make it simple to work in tight spots while still delivering a controlled, effective strike.
Comfort and visibility: the handle is fitted with a diamond-text, non-slip grip to maintain control during repeated blows. The neon orange finish makes the hammer easy to spot in a crowded toolbox or shop.
Specs: 1 & 1/2 pound hammer. Overall dimensions 12.75 x 4.25 x 2 inches (handle length 11-35/64”). Head dimensions 4.31” x 1.63” x 1.63”. Brass cap face diameter 1-15/64”. Rubber face diameter 1-1/2”. Head weight 24 oz (680 g).

Useful set but compact sizes
Handy collection, though all the heads run small. They work as intended, but I often reach for a larger hammer. The tiniest one is perfect for gunsmithing; overall a good addition to the tool drawer.

Good quality, versatile head
Both the rubber face and brass cap are useful. It performs well and the smaller head is handy compared with my larger dead-blow mallets.

Great tools — wish they were sold individually
Hammers themselves are fine. My issue is having to buy the entire set to get the 12 oz brass-capped hammer I needed; now I have extras I may not use.

Sturdy, multi-use hammers
Well built and durable. They’re smaller than full-size hammers but still deliver strong impacts and fit into tight spots. The ergonomic grip is comfortable and the bright orange makes them easy to find. Good at preventing accidental damage to surrounding surfaces.
