Marine
Nalwort Boat Dock Bumpers — 16 ft & 24 ft Dock Fender Strips
Product description
Available lengths and configuration: Offered in both 16-foot and 24-foot kits. The 24-foot option arrives as fifteen pre-cut sections, each about 19.5 inches long, so you can lay out protection across long runs or trim pieces to fit corners or shorter spans.
Construction and performance: Manufactured from a marine-grade rubber compound that resists corrosion and prolonged exposure to sun, salt, and freshwater. The material is engineered to absorb docking impact, dissipate force, and rebound quickly so the fender maintains shape and performance over repeated contacts.
Fit and usage: The profile adapts to straight dock edges and side faces, providing a continuous protective barrier for hulls and timber. Sections are simple to trim with a sharp knife or saw, letting you custom-fit around posts, corners, and steps.
Hardware and packaging: Kits include mounting screws and a peel-away adhesive backing to hold strips in place during fitting. Units are shipped flat rather than rolled, eliminating curl and creases so they are ready to install right out of the box. No extra fasteners are required for typical installs, though some installers add additional nails or screws for extra security.
Pros
- Marine-grade material resists weather and corrosion
- Pre-cut sections simplify handling and trimming
- Includes adhesive backing plus mounting screws
Cons
- Adhesive may need supplementary fasteners for long-term hold
- Rubber can scuff or mark with light abrasion
- Screw holes are not pre-punched in every piece
VerdictA practical and affordable fendering solution for home docks and small marinas. The sectioned design keeps handling and cutting simple, marine-grade material resists weathering, and the strips absorb impacts while springing back. Adhesive backing plus supplied screws speed installation, though some users secure pieces further for long-term hold. Overall a solid way to reduce hull and dock damage o

Simple and effective
Did the job and was straightforward to mount. Worked great.

Adhesive needs help holding
Installed on my dock but the adhesive alone wouldn't secure everything. I tacked pieces down on the top and side and used extra nails. The rubber is thick and the supplied screws don’t sit in pre-punched holes, so expect some extra effort.

Small sections are convenient
I found the short segments easier to handle than a single roll. I added small fenders between sections for a cleaner joint and it looks and works great.

Clean look and easy fit
Exactly what I needed for my dock. The strips look good, seem sturdy, and installation was quick. They include the screws so you don’t need extra hardware.

Too soft for rough use
The material feels too soft — it scuffs and scratches fairly easily.

Sectioned pieces made install fast
The 24' kit arrived as 15 neat sections and feels well made. Once the first piece was set, installing the rest went quickly and looks clean. I had to trim one section with a miter saw for a perfect fit.

Blends in and protects well
I like them — the brown color matches my dock and works effectively. The protective release film can be tricky to peel off cleanly, which is a minor annoyance. Despite that, they do the job and I'll buy more.

Installed over 100 ft with good results
I put about 110 feet up on a new boathouse. You peel the backing, press them to the wood, then secure with the supplied stainless screws. It took a couple hours and the strips look thick and substantial — should protect the hulls well.

High-visibility, durable protection
The yellow color makes edges easier to see and the strips feel robust, not flimsy. Installation was simple with the included screws and they protect both long runs and corners. They cut down on marks during everyday docking, though they won’t prevent heavy impacts.

Solid bumpers for a pontoon
We needed more protection than the tiny bumpers we had before. These reduce impact in windy conditions and awkward angles, and the green color is a nice change. I just hope the color holds up after years in the sun.

Holding for a future build
I bought this for a planned boardwalk and dock project on a marshy property. The material feels tough and weather resistant, and the bright orange will be easy to spot during approach or as an edge marker when the dock is built.

Absorbs bumps without marking hull
Very pleased with these. The double-sided tape holds things in place while you drive the stainless screws. Pieces are easy to cut with a knife or saw. They give extra peace of mind when wind or tide makes docking tricky and look professionally fitted.
