Holder construction: the pencil-style holders are made from aluminum using a CNC process for consistent fit and finish. The metal is corrosion-resistant and engineered for everyday handling, with crisp thread detail for secure tightening and an ergonomic barrel for a comfortable grip.

Refill details: all sticks are #1 Select natural grade soapstone, measuring 1/4" in diameter and 5" in length. They lay down a clear white line that wipes off most surfaces and is especially visible on darker metals.

How it works: the holder clamps the soapstone to prevent breakage and lets you advance or retract the stone for controlled marking. The threaded tip tightens around the rod so you can set the exposed length precisely for fine or bold lines.
