Sumobaby 63 x 70 Portable Blackout Window Shade — No-Drill
Product description
100% blackout performance: The panel uses a reflective silver coating bonded to a tightly woven black polyester backing to eliminate visible light and reduce UV transmission. This construction enhances privacy and provides thermal insulation to help keep interiors cooler.
Included accessories and materials: Each package contains a 63" x 70" blackout curtain and a set of acrylic hook-and-loop tape pads (25 square inches of tape in total). The tape is formulated to resist high temperatures and to adhere without drilling or permanent hardware.
Heat resistance and safe adhesion: The supplied acrylic hook-and-loop strips are rated for elevated temperatures and are designed to hold up in warm conditions without leaving residue. They allow quick, removable attachment to smooth frames and surfaces for temporary or seasonal use.
Custom-fit and versatile use: The panel can be trimmed to size with scissors, making it suitable for windows, French doors, skylights, RV openings and other nonstandard frames. Cut-to-fit simplicity ensures a snug fit over glass while still permitting window operation when desired.
Portable and low-odor construction: The shade is lightweight and rolls up for compact transport or storage. The fabric is factory treated and disinfected to minimize manufacturing smells, making it suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, and other sensitive spaces.

Blocks daylight for early sleepers
These block all the light and feel sturdy. I used extra sticky tabs in the middle so I can fold it up to open the window. Great for summer sleep and may help retain warmth in winter.

Simple and effective
Quick to install, velcro is firm without being brutal, and it cut out every bit of light while keeping heat away. No complaints.

Served my purpose
Used it to shade my dog’s cage from sun. It did the job, though the stick-ons weren’t as secure as I hoped.

Solid value
Removed virtually all incoming light. Lightweight fabric and the adhesive tabs held up for us. Helped keep the space cooler and is good size for the price.

Functional though not decorative
Does exactly what I needed — eliminated a bright street light and helped cool the room. It’s utilitarian, so I layered a regular curtain in front for looks, which fixed the aesthetics.

Better than expected at blocking heat
Surprised by how much sun and heat this stops. I cut it to the glass so windows still open and on a very hot day the house stayed much cooler than usual. Definitely helped where regular shades failed.

Blocks light but adhesion can fail
As a blackout panel it performs well, but the adhesive pads can be unreliable. I prepped the wall and followed directions, yet the pads kept coming loose and I had to reattach often.
