Harriet Gooseneck Electric Kettle — Precision Temp, 0.8L Capacity
Product description
Precision heating and versatile range: This kettle offers adjustable temperature from 104°F to 203°F with a one-touch boiling function that reaches 212°F. It uses a certified British STRIX thermostat for stable accuracy and includes a 120-minute keep-warm function so water stays at the set temperature for up to two hours.
Food-safe construction: Water only contacts food-grade stainless steel inside the pot, lid, and spout to reduce off-flavors. The exterior is stainless steel with a matte finish and a natural wood-accent handle for a warm, Scandinavian-inspired look and ergonomic grip.
Controlled pouring and timing: The long, narrow gooseneck spout gives a slow, steady stream for precise pouring, ideal for V60, Chemex and most pour-over brewers. A built-in brew timer with pause and reset functions helps you track bloom and brew times for consistent extraction.
Performance and safety features: The 1200 W heating element brings 0.8 L of water up quickly for coffee, tea, oatmeal and other uses. °F/°C switching, mute mode and a glass-touch base that’s easy to wipe clean add convenience. Safety systems include auto shut-off, boil-dry protection and overheat protection.
Designed for everyday use: The combination of a compact 0.8 L capacity, rapid heat-up, and a stylish matte body with wooden accents makes this kettle both functional and attractive for home coffee corners, gifting, or anyone seeking better temperature control in their brewing routine.
Pros
- Accurate STRIX thermostat for stable temperatures
- Precise gooseneck spout and built-in brew timer
- Food-grade stainless steel interior with cool wood handle
Cons
- Only 0.8 L capacity may be small for multiple mugs
- Control scheme can be non-intuitive at first
- No saved custom temperature presets
VerdictWell-suited for pour-over and tea lovers who want fine temperature control and steady pours. The STRIX thermostat and gooseneck spout deliver accurate heating and steady flow; 0.8 L suits single-serve brewing. Some users find the controls fiddly, but it’s a solid, stylish addition to a coffee setup.

No way to save a favorite temp
Fit and finish are nice and it looks good on the counter, but only boiling is one-touch. If I want a specific temp like 194°F I must set it each time. My previous kettles remembered presets, so that’s disappointing here.

Well made but confusing instructions
Nice little kettle and it heats well, but the instructions are unclear. I couldn’t get the tea preset to work after a week of trying — not sure if it’s defective. Also the water level marker is hard to see and can overflow if overfilled.

Frustrating reliability issues
Attractive unit but inconsistent heating behavior made it maddening. Sometimes it starts immediately, other times it took ages and guessing. Re-reading the manual didn’t help. I returned it after trying to troubleshoot.

Perfect for my morning tea
After several days I’m pleased. It gets water hot quickly for my morning cup, the narrow spout improves control, and the digital readout makes checking temperature instant and simple.

A real upgrade for pour-over
This gooseneck transformed my pour-over routine. Temperature control is very reliable and the spout gives a steady, controlled stream. Heats quickly and the wooden handle stays cool. Feels sturdy and much better than my old stovetop kettle.

Looks premium and performs well
Happy with the purchase so far. Heats water quickly and the slim spout makes pouring for coffee or tea easy. Lightweight and user-friendly, the finish and design look more upscale than I expected.

Excellent performance, clunky controls
Heats very quickly and pours well; I wish the capacity were slightly larger. The holding temps are handy but the keypad and menu aren’t intuitive — the manual stayed out on the counter while we learned it. Works great once you get used to it.

Good build and ideal volume for me
After a month of use I appreciate the solid construction and attractive handle. It holds about 3¼ cups to the max line, which is perfect for my needs. Using chilled, filtered water it heats in roughly three to four minutes and the controls were simple once I read the guide.
