Runtz Kids Ball Chair — Anti-Burst Active Seating (Black)
Product description
Runtz combines a small anti-burst exercise ball with a molded seat and a four-legged powder-coated base to create a stable, bounce-friendly chair sized for children. The package includes the anti-burst ball, a black vinyl cover that wipes clean, a set of feet and a second set of legs — both mounting options are supplied so you can choose the configuration that suits your space.
Install only the lower feet for a sitting height of approximately 13.5 inches, or attach both the feet and the longer legs for a taller 17-inch seat. The frame components are powder coated for durability and the ball material is rated to resist bursting. The chair weighs about 11.2 pounds, making it easy to move between classrooms, therapy rooms, waiting areas, or play spaces, and it tucks under many work surfaces when not in use.
Use Runtz where small guests need a bit of motion to stay focused: reading corners, groupwork stations, daycare rooms, and other child-centered environments. It’s CPSIA compliant and carries GREENGUARD certification, reflecting testing for low chemical emissions to support healthier indoor air. Part of the Safco Active Collection, the design aims to engage core muscles and promote better posture through gentle movement.

Great for desk coloring
Well made and my 6-year-old loves using it at her desk when she colors — just the right small size.

First graders adore them
My first graders loved theirs so much we added more. They’re safe for brief adult use as well and have been a great classroom tool.

Sturdy but watch the assembly
Very solid and the students enjoy them. The ball sits inside the base, but some leg holes were tricky to tighten — I recommend hand tools for a snug fit.

Perfect height for kindergarten tables
Without the taller legs it fits neatly under my son's kinder tables. Teachers and parents liked it so much the whole class ended up with one.

Well made but too small for older kids
Excellent construction but much better for preschoolers. We bought a larger ball-chair for our older child, which fits classroom desks much better.

Helps restless and kinesthetic learners
We have two in our homeschool room. They reduce restlessness and let kids bounce during lessons without leaving their seats.

Fun, effective seating for kids
This gumdrop-shaped seat encouraged my kids to sit and bounce while reading and drawing. Kids want to share it, so pick up extras if you have several little ones.
