Bentgo Classic 3-Compartment Stackable Adult Bento Lunch Box with Utensils
Product description
All-in-one packing: This set arrives with two stackable containers (a larger base and a smaller top tray), an integrated three-piece utensil set, a removable tray divider inside one compartment, and a durable nylon strap that holds everything together during transport.
Materials and construction: Manufactured from BPA-free, food-safe plastic, the containers are lightweight yet sturdy for daily use. The smaller container nests into the larger one for efficient storage. Lids and the divider are designed to sit securely, while the strap adds extra stability when carrying.
Capacity and use: The design provides three distinct compartments to keep foods separate and portioned. The removable divider lets you customize one compartment for snacks or sides. The lower container works well on its own when you need more capacity; the top piece stacks neatly when not in use.
Cleaning and reheating: The main containers are safe for reheating in the microwave and are dishwasher-safe. The lid, divider and nylon strap should be kept out of the microwave and removed before dishwasher cycles to preserve seals and elasticity. Ideal for packed lunches, meal prepping, and bringing snacks on the go.
Pros
- Compact, nestable design saves storage space
- Includes utensil set and secure nylon strap
- Microwave- and dishwasher-safe for main containers
Cons
- Not fully leakproof for liquids
- Utensils are basic and flexible
- Lid, divider and strap need hand care or removal
VerdictA practical, well-made adult bento that balances portion control, convenience, and portability. The included utensil set and strap make it ready to use straight away, and its nestable design saves cupboard and bag space. It isn’t fully leakproof for liquids and the utensil quality is basic, but for solid meals, salads, and meal prep it performs very well. Good for adults who want a compact, reusab

Great size for kids
These are ideal for my elementary and middle school girls—good portion control and they travel well in backpacks without making a mess.

Kids love it
Great for my tenth grader who eats lots of veggies. The strap helps keep everything in place, so food doesn't shift during the day. Cute look and very practical for school lunches.

Perfect adult portion size
This fits adult portions nicely and the three compartments keep items separate so nothing gets soggy. It's sturdy, stacks for storage, and I've safely used the main bowls in the microwave and dishwasher. Great for work lunches and controlling portions.

High quality for daily use
Really impressed—holds a lot of food and comes with utensils. It's been reliable for my daughter's school lunches, and she uses it almost every day.

Well designed, just watch liquids
I'm still getting used to it, but so far it's staying in rotation. My only worry is adding soups or dressings — it's not watertight. The utensil set is handy. For an adult lunch plus snack it holds plenty; bigger appetites might want a larger system. Great for road trips.

Surprisingly roomy and practical
I wondered if it would hold enough, but it does. One insert is divided and one is full-size. The bottom snaps together fine but isn't leakproof for liquids—works well for salads. The top doesn't snap tightly. Utensils are a bit rubbery and the fork prongs bend, but I usually use office cutlery.

Exactly what she wanted
My daughter picked it out and was very pleased with the choice.

Works for toast with a tweak
The bottom section fits one slice of toast exactly; sometimes it’s tight, so I cut the toast in half and it fits fine.

Very pleased
I have no complaints. It looks nice, feels solid, and the utensils are handy. Holds enough for a full day and seems dishwasher-safe, so I'm optimistic about long-term care.

Good daily lunch bento
Fits a full meal and dessert. The two boxes don’t lock together by themselves — the elastic band is what keeps them secure. The included plastic cutlery is firm; the knife even cuts well. Not fully leakproof, so I wouldn’t pack soup.

Nice idea, some design trade-offs
I enjoy using it and it encourages portion control, but fitting the plastic silverware into its slot can be fiddly. Leaving the middle slot empty helps. The lid seals could be firmer; it doesn't feel fully leakproof. Still fun to pack healthy lunches and gets a lot of attention at work.

Went from testing to buying more
I bought one for my husband and after weeks of use I bought another for myself. It stores compactly with the small box nesting inside the larger one and lids stacking. The band keeps lids secure for transport. Microwave reheats well when lids are removed and it cleans up easily.
