Top-tier feel and performance
Really well made and as lightweight as it could reasonably be. I was initially unsure about the colored accents, but they’re subtle when the monopod is extended. I’d never used a monopod before, but this makes birding and long-lens work much easier. It’s pricey, but the quality suggests it’ll be the last monopod I need to buy.

Perfect for a traveling sports shooter
I picked this monopod after reading recommendations. I travel most of the year for sports work, so compactness, weight, and durability matter. It’s noticeably lighter than my previous unit and folds down small enough for carry. I use a heavy Canon 400mm f/2.8, and the monopod gives very solid support. Switched brands after ten years because the old flip-clasp threads failed; this one feels robust and reliable. Highly recommended for those who move around a lot.

Handles a heavy 600mm setup with ease
Build quality is excellent — minimal plastic on the head, smooth knobs, and well-tuned tension. The leg twist releases require little rotation which speeds up setup and collapse. One minor worry is the stored Allen key slot in the head that could fall out while traveling. I mounted a Z9 via adapter and a 600mm f/4; balance was quick and the whole combination felt rock-solid. The carbon weave and finish are also very attractive.
