Excellent uncapping roller

This roller speeds up uncapping and is simple to use. It leaves the wax mostly intact so the bees can rebuild and it’s safer than using a fork or hot knife. I handle about 20 hives and these work very well for me.

First time trying it and I’m impressed. It pierces fresh comb cleanly for easy extraction. Older brood combs can gunk it up but it scrubs off easily. Make sure to tighten the nut before starting or it may separate.

Watch for a loose fastener

I liked the tool and it made uncapping quick, but the bolt kept loosening during use. Despite that, I would buy it again after securing the hardware.
