10ft Offset Cantilever Patio Umbrella — 8-Rib Hanging Market Shade
Product description
OVERSIZED OFFSET DESIGN: A 10-foot diameter offset canopy gives more clear space beneath than a center-post model, making it suitable for lounge areas, hammocks, hot tubs and dining sets.
CRANK AND TILT OPERATION: Opens and closes with a hand crank and includes an easy-tilt mechanism so you can angle the canopy to block the sun as it moves. The pole and crank are removable to simplify setup and seasonal storage.
WIND MANAGEMENT & BASE REQUIREMENT: The canopy has a large vent at the apex to allow airflow and reduce lift in breezes. The unit ships with a cross-style base that must be combined with heavy weights for safe operation; recommended base weight is 100 lbs or more. Do not use without sufficient ballast.
ROBUST MATERIALS: The main shaft is finished with a powder-coated steel treatment to resist corrosion and surface damage. The canopy is woven polyester treated for water and UV resistance to help preserve color and performance.
COMPATIBILITY & DIMENSIONS: Works with dedicated offset umbrella base systems (sold separately). Overall footprint measures approximately 120 inches in diameter and stands about 91.5 inches tall.

Excellent coverage
I adore this umbrella—its span shades my entire patio. The brown fabric looks lovely and I’m very pleased with it.

Long-lasting but weather took its toll
This lasted me for years and is a good size. Weather eventually damaged it, but I’ll order another—great quality for the cost.

Lovely color, minor water issue
Perfect color and appearance on our deck. Water can collect in the crank housing if uncovered; a small bag helps. We added tape inside the canopy to prevent cable wear and it’s held up well so far.

Works well over a stock tank pool
Two years in Florida: provides ample shade for our stock tank pool. We bolted it to the deck and use bungees when it’s windy. The top faded somewhat but it stood up to many storms when secured.

Five years of outdoor use
Left outside in southeast Kansas for five years with no mildew and little color loss. Hoses clean it easily. A screw can loosen so it may pivot, but tightening fixes it. A storm eventually tore a small section after it was left open; still impressed and plan to buy another. Tip: use a very heavy base and close it for storms.

Great for shading a hammock
We use it to shade a hammock and a large net. The offset arm lets it reach where needed. Assembly took about 15 minutes alone; you’ll need a wrench for the base bolts. The shaft and canopy feel substantial, though the lowered edge sits near eye level so you may have to duck.

Coverage is generous
Good size. Perfect to shield the hot tub from strong sun.

Failed within a year
Bought it a year ago and used it sparingly. A guiding cone came loose repeatedly, causing the rope to rub and cut. The part failure rendered it unusable; I would not buy again knowing this.

Easy setup but durability concerns
Assembly was simple, but after light use a plastic guard that limits travel broke and fell out. Also, water pooled down the center and soaked items underneath. I dropped my rating and plan to request a replacement or return.

Looked good but didn’t last
It provided decent shade for one season, but the opening string rotted and the winding mechanism rusted. Warranty was limited so I couldn’t get help. Not as durable as expected.

Missing ground stakes
The package did not include the ground stakes even though the description said they would.

Broke after a few uses
The wind-up handle and the internal mechanism failed after the fourth use.

Budget-friendly but short-lived
I replace these every few years; they’re much cheaper than high-end brands. In windy areas they can be lifted and broken even when weighted. The hand crank is often the first part to fail.
