140-Piece Metal Drywall Anchor & Screw Kit — Self-Drilling Anchors
Product description
Complete 140-piece fixing kit with anchors and matched screws sized for light, medium and heavier household hangings. The set supplies three popular anchor sizes plus corresponding screws so you have a single solution for most room projects, from small decor to mirrors and pegboard.
Self-drilling design removes the need for a power drill: anchors are driven in by tapping with a hammer then tightened with a screwdriver. For best results tap gently and keep the anchor aligned to avoid bending. These anchors are intended for hollow drywall and sheetrock — do not use over studs or in solid masonry.
Constructed from zinc-plated Mn65 steel for strength and corrosion resistance. The anchors have serrated gripping ribs that help them seat more securely in drywall than standard plastic plugs, providing improved holding power for everyday items.
Leaves smaller holes than plastic alternatives, which simplifies touch-ups when redecorating or moving out — a practical option for apartments, dorms, rental units and offices. The kit is suitable for bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and workspaces where sheetrock and hollow walls are common.
Common applications include hanging picture frames, sconces, towel racks, plant baskets, wall organizers, mirrors and lightweight shelving. Use a hammer and screwdriver for installation and avoid structural or load-bearing uses where a stud or specialized anchor is required.
Pros
- Self-drilling—install with hammer and screwdriver
- Zinc-plated Mn65 steel resists rust and adds strength
- Smaller repair holes; good for rentals and sheetrock
Cons
- Not for anchoring into studs or masonry
- Metal can deform if hammered at an angle
- Limited to hollow drywall and sheetrock applications
VerdictA versatile all-in-one anchor set for everyday drywall mounting tasks. The 140-piece collection covers a range of common needs with three anchor sizes and compatible screws, and the zinc-plated Mn65 steel resists corrosion while the serrated body bites into sheetrock for a firmer hold than plastic plugs. They’re intended for hollow drywall rather than stud mounting; installation is drill-free usin

Do the job where required.

Decent for sheetrock but could be tougher
Good idea, but the alloy should be harder for driving into dense surfaces. Works well in sheetrock; my difficult walls likely affected performance. Fine for lighter hangings.

Packaging and metal softness issues
Box came with the compartments open so pieces shifted. Anchors are sharp but won’t push into drywall without a hammer. Metal feels soft—if driven off-angle the internal sleeve can tilt and the screw sits crooked. Works fine when driven straight and tapped carefully.
