100-Piece Zinc Self-Drilling Drywall Anchors & #8 x 1-1/4" Screws Kit
Product description
This kit contains 100 pieces: 50 zinc alloy, self-drilling drywall anchors and 50 matching #8 x 1-1/4" zinc-plated screws. The anchors are made from a durable zinc alloy designed for strength, scratch resistance, and impact durability. The screws are produced from heavy-duty steel with a zinc plating to improve corrosion resistance and extend service life.
Each anchor features a sharp, pointed shank and a deep-thread profile so it can be turned into gypsum board without a prior hole, reducing dust and speeding installation. Once the anchor is seated, driving the supplied screw forces the anchor to wedge tightly into the wall for a firm hold. This system is intended for medium-duty hanging tasks.
Recommended uses include bathrooms and kitchens, picture frames, mirrors, curtain rods, small shelves, light fixtures, and other common wall-mounted items. The anchors are sized for 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8" gypsum wallboard and drywall, where the deep threads engage the board to resist pullout.
Do not use these anchors in concrete, brick, or other masonry. For best results and to avoid speeding or tip breakage, install with a manual screwdriver rather than a high-speed electric driver. If extra bite is needed in very dense drywall, a small pilot hole can be started to reduce tip stress.
Pros
- Self-drilling — no pre-drill for gypsum
- Durable zinc alloy anchors and zinc-plated screws
- Large 100-piece quantity for multiple projects
Cons
- Not rated for concrete or brick
- Occasional tip breakage in very dense drywall
- Screws may feel basic for heavy tasks
VerdictSolid option for medium-duty wall hangings: zinc-alloy, self-tapping anchors plus zinc-plated screws offer reliable grip in typical gypsum board. Great quantity for multiple projects, but avoid masonry and use a manual driver to prevent damage.

Not for heavy loads
Failed to hold a clothes rack — anchors pulled out and left multiple holes. Might be okay for very light items.

Prefer over plastic
I like these better than plastic anchors. They perform much more reliably.

Sturdy and simple to fit
They handled several jobs around the house. Easy to install, gripped well, and supported shelves and décor. The pack size is handy and the parts feel solid. I'd buy them again.

Better than cheap plastic in old walls
Dense, older drywall wore out plastic anchors. This metal set is a long-term supply; a few tips snapped, so I now start with a small pilot hole and they perform well.

Does the job, plastics are softer
They work, but I still favor plastic anchors for being gentler on drywall and easier to drive.

Good for everyday hanging
Great for pictures and small shelves. Screws feel a bit inexpensive but function fine.
