Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector — King Fitted, 100% Waterproof
Product description
Complete everyday protection: This king fitted mattress protector offers a fully waterproof barrier that keeps sweat, spills, and accidents off your mattress. The cover is engineered to block liquids while remaining breathable and comfortable to sleep on.
Materials and construction: The protector features a soft-knit top layer that’s quiet and smooth, an internal waterproof membrane, and stretch-fit skirts that hug the mattress. It is treated with antimicrobial and hypoallergenic finishes to help reduce odors and allergens.
Fit and sizes: Available in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, California King, and Split King. Two depth options are offered: a standard fit for mattresses roughly 8 to 15.5 inches deep, and a deep-pocket version for mattresses 15.5 to 20 inches. The elasticized edges help keep the cover in place on both low- and high-profile beds.
How it performs and care: The protector is designed to flex with your mattress so underlying comfort layers continue to cradle pressure points instead of being restricted by a rigid cover. It’s machine-washable—wash cold and tumble dry low—and made to stay soft and noiseless night after night.
Built by Purple: Developed by a company with decades of product innovation and numerous patents, this protector aims to protect your mattress without changing its feel. It’s intended as a discreet, effective shield you won’t notice while you sleep.

Clean look and seamless feel
After a month of use it feels well-made. It stays smooth, doesn’t bunch, and you hardly notice it’s there—seamless against the mattress.

Quiet, comfortable, and functional
Some negative comments seem misleading. I’ve gone through various protectors and removed the noisy ones immediately; this is the opposite. It’s quiet, doesn’t crinkle, and lets the bed feel the way it was intended. It costs more than basic covers, but for me the comfort makes it worthwhile.

Expensive but worth the comfort
It’s an expensive purchase and I hesitated at first, but my spouse insists on these now. The king fits perfectly, deep pockets handle our thick mattress, and it never slips or bunches. Most importantly, it doesn’t feel like plastic—no clammy or noisy sensation. Not a budget option, but once you sleep on it you understand why people repurchase it.

Fits memory foam mattress perfectly
We use this as an extra layer over our memory foam mattress and it fits great. The material is soft and flexible with no plastic sound or feel. I’ve had it for three months and it performs well; thankfully we haven’t needed to test the waterproofing yet.

Dependable protection that actually works
I bought a Purple protector years ago and recently grabbed a second as a spare because the first still performs. It’s genuinely waterproof and quiet—no crinkling—and the elastic sides cover the mattress edges well. I sleep with only a jersey sheet over it, and it stays comfortable and smooth. Recently I accidentally poured a large bowl of water onto a twin bed with this protector; towels and sheets were soaked, but the mattress beneath was bone dry once I removed the layers. I’ve tried other makes on other beds, but this one lasts and protects.

Waterproof but not a full encasement
The interior keeps liquids from reaching the mattress—I spilled a large coffee and the cover blocked it. The top fabric can stain, though; after years of use and a few hot washes I saw waterproofing weaken in spots and replaced it. I plan to layer the new one under the old to reduce staining. Also note this isn’t a sealed encasement, so it won’t protect against insects or fully block dust mites.
