Magnetic Retractable Bread Lame — Sourdough Scoring Tool
Product description
Complete scoring kit for artisan loaves: The set arrives with a compact retractable bread lame, one razor installed, ten individually wrapped replacement blades, a small scoring pattern booklet, and tidy packaging. It’s intended to give home bakers everything needed to start creating bakery-style cuts on sourdough and other crusty breads.
Retractable design and magnetic storage: The lame’s blade retracts fully into the body for safe keeping and cleaning. An adjustable slide lets you control how far the blade extends so you can vary cut depth. A built-in magnet sticks to metal surfaces like your oven or fridge for quick access during bake day.
Stable blade control and easy blade swaps: Inside the slim plastic housing a small sled holds a double-edged razor securely to minimize wobble while scoring. To change a blade, extend the sled, remove the rear cover, lift out the spent blade and slide in a fresh razor. The simple mechanism keeps maintenance straightforward.
Comfortable grip for neat scoring: The handle is shaped to be gripped like a pen, offering precise control for expansion cuts or decorative patterns. Its compact footprint fits easily in drawers and won’t dominate your utensil space, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced bakers.
A thoughtful gift for home bakers: Packaged to look presentable, the kit makes a handy present for birthdays, housewarmings or anyone getting into breadmaking. The included pattern guide offers inspiration to help bakers take simple dough to attractive finished loaves.
Support and warranty: The manufacturer backs the product with responsive customer support and a lifetime warranty so you can bake with confidence. Materials include corrosion-resistant stainless-steel razor blades and a durable plastic body designed for everyday kitchen use.

Decent upgrade from my old tool
Worked better than the lame I used before and it includes replacement blades, which is handy.

Simple to use, great scoring results
This lame is compact enough to tuck in a drawer yet substantial enough to handle. The magnetic case sticks to my oven so it’s always at hand. The slide releases and returns the blade smoothly, keeping fingers safe. Bright color makes it easy to find, and popping the case open to clean or swap blades is quick — no more rusty or grimy handles.

Personalize your loaves with ease
The lame arrived ready to use and includes ten wrapped replacement blades. The retractable feature keeps it safe in storage, and the magnet is great for quick access on the fridge. It’s comfortable to hold and the blade moves cleanly through dough so I could make the scoring patterns I wanted without fuss.

Clean, precise cuts and excellent control
The retractable twist-and-lock feels solid and balanced, more like a precision tool than a clumsy handle. Sharp stainless edges glide through cold, tacky dough without tearing. Blade tucks away safely when not in use, and the durable build and corrosion-resistant blades have held up to regular baking. My boules now show clean ears and crisp decorative patterns.

Clever, magnetic and easy to reach
A straightforward retractable lame with a useful built-in magnet. The blade slides out smoothly and feels locked in place for controlled cuts. It comes with a small pattern guide showing before-and-after photos which is inspiring. The only fiddly bit is swapping the razor — it takes a careful hand.

Nice, compact scorer — very usable
After getting back into breadmaking I found this lame easy to use and plenty sharp. The blade safely stores inside the body and the magnet lets me stick it to the fridge between bakes. It’s compact, cleans up easily, and feels well made. I’m very pleased with how it performs.

A simple, effective starter lame
If you struggle scoring loaves with a kitchen knife, this makes it much easier. The box contains the lame with a preinstalled blade, a small box of extras, and a pamphlet with pattern ideas. The retractable double-edged razor and magnet are very convenient and swapping blades is straightforward. It’s worked well for rolls so far and should last a long time.

Well thought-out mechanism and extras
The body is slightly narrower in the middle for grip and the plastic case pops open with a fingernail. A sled rides a track to extend a double-edged razor, moved by an external button so you don’t touch the blade. Ridges on the sled align with standard blade cutouts for a secure fit and the sled can be removed with the razor for washing. Friction locks the sled at each end and a magnet inside holds it to metal surfaces. The kit includes ten extra blades (11 total) and a small pattern leaflet.

A finishing touch for better loaves
This lame really elevated my sourdough. The magnetic retractable design keeps the blade safely stowed and the balance makes scoring angles easy to control. The blade keeps a keen edge and slides through sticky dough with minimal drag. Ten spare blades are generous, cleanup is simple, and it feels like a solid, useful tool for serious bakers.

Handy, affordable scoring tool
I scored four loaves of Italian bread with this and the thin blade made clean, quick cuts. The retractable design stores neatly in a drawer and the pack of ten replacement blades is a welcome bonus. Note that the slider doesn’t lock when extended, so you hold it steady while scoring. Overall a useful, straightforward tool for home bakers.

Small tool, big impact on presentation
I didn’t realize I needed this until I scored a pretty loaf and my family thought I’d bought it. Unlike long-handled tools that feel awkward, this one is easy to pinch and control. The blade retracts fully and I store it safely out of reach after cleaning. The included design booklet is inspiring, and I like making my own patterns too.

Love the retractable style
I switched from the slide-onto-handle blades that would pop off to this retractable model and I prefer it. Replacing blades is simple and the straight blade stays put. The foldout with cut patterns makes me want to try fancier designs. Best part: the magnet keeps it on my fridge so I don’t lose it between uses.
