LILAC Non-Scratch Cellulose Sponges — 12-Count Kitchen & Home (Blue)
Product description
Pack contents: twelve blue cellulose scrub sponges supplied together so you have replacements on hand for daily cleaning across the home. Material: each sponge is made from natural cellulose fibers that are absorbent, biodegradable, and soft enough for delicate surfaces.
Design and use: the sponges feature a dual-sided build — a softer, porous cellulose face for soaking up spills and suds, plus a firmer scrubbing layer for tackling stuck-on food and grime. They are intended for dishes, pots and pans with non-stick coatings, countertops, sinks, and other household surfaces where a non-abrasive touch is needed.
Size and feel: produced in a compact, hand-sized format that fits comfortably in the palm. The slimmer profile makes them easy to manipulate in tight spaces like cups and pitchers; when wetted the cellulose softens while still retaining enough structure for scrubbing.
Care and longevity: regular rinsing and squeezing after use helps extend life; the natural fiber construction resists lingering chemical odors and is durable enough for repeated scrubbing on everyday messes. Keep separate sponges for heavy-duty jobs and delicate cookware to maximize lifespan.
Pros
- Gentle on non-stick cookware
- Absorbent natural cellulose material
- Generous 12-count supply
Cons
- Thinner profile than many standard sponges
- Less water retention compared to thicker foam
- Not as plush for heavy-duty cushioning
VerdictA practical 12-pack of natural cellulose sponges that balance gentle cleaning with scrubbing power. They handle everyday dishwashing and countertop tasks without harming non-stick surfaces, offer good absorbency, and provide reliable performance at a solid value—though they have a slimmer profile than some traditional kitchen sponges.

Sturdy Construction and Useful Two-Sided Design
They feel solid and hold up during regular scrubbing. I appreciate the soft cellulose side for everyday washing and the firmer scrubber when food needs extra work. The non-scratch feature preserves my cookware and the 12-pack means plenty of replacements.

Does the Job but Noticeably Thinner Than Usual
I bought these for value and they clean well, but they’re much slimmer than a typical sponge. The scrub side works fine and doesn’t scratch, but the thinner sponge portion holds less water and makes generating suds a bit harder.

Impressed by Ergonomic Shape and Gentle Cleaning
These surprised me. The contoured shape sits comfortably in the hand and gives a secure grip, which makes scrubbing less tiring. The cellulose side softens when wet but keeps enough body to scrub without collapsing, and the non-scratch surface is safe on pans and glassware.

Good Alternative to Brand-Name Sponges After Wetting
They arrive compact but expand nicely when soaked. Once wet they scrub away baked-on food without shedding fibers and have performed as well as more familiar brands. Great value and convenient to have delivered.

Smaller Size Works Better in Tight Spots
Vacuum-sealed at first, they puff up with water. They aren’t as large or thick as standard sponges, and soap retention was low until fully hydrated. After that they held soap well and are handy for cups, small pots and the coffee maker.
