Forfon Heavy-Duty Dog Rope Toy Set — Tough Chew Toys for Large Dogs
Product description
Package contents: three braided rope toys (two longer tug ropes and one shorter chew rope) plus two rolls of dog waste bags for quick cleanups.
Materials and construction: woven natural cotton fibers form the bulk of each rope, with tight braiding and reinforced grips to withstand pulling and chewing during play.
Sizing and intended use: two long ropes are sized for tug-of-war and interactive play with medium-to-large breeds; the shorter rope is handy for solo chewing or shorter fetch sessions.
How it helps: the cotton strands act like a flossing action as dogs chew, helping scrub teeth and reduce plaque buildup while they play. Sturdy loops and knots make the toys easy to grip for both owner and pet.
Care and safety: designed for extended active use but not indestructible—inspect ropes regularly and discard if the braid unravels. Supervision is recommended for dogs that are extremely aggressive chewers.
Pros
- Braided cotton helps clean teeth while chewing
- Includes two waste bags for convenience
- Good durability for tugging and active play
Cons
- Will fray with very persistent chewers
- Not suited for dogs that ingest fibers
- May be large for small-breed mouths
VerdictA practical, budget-friendly pack for active, medium-to-large dogs that enjoy tugging and chewing. The braided cotton construction cleans teeth as dogs chew and provides stout handles for interactive play. These ropes last considerably longer than flimsier toys, though very determined chewers will eventually unravel strands. The included waste bags are a useful bonus. Overall, a good mix of durabi

Not indestructible
My dogs chewed these apart in under a week. The strands unraveled quickly, so they didn’t last as long as I hoped. Similar to other inexpensive rope toys in that way.

Finally something that holds up
My Pitbull/Lab mix goes after everything and these ropes are durable. She fetches and drags them around, then hands them back so we can play tug of war. They’ve been holding up well so far.

Great for tugging, but can fray
My dog loves these and plays tug all the time. Some sections were chewed through and I had to retie a knot, but she was a teething puppy when we got them. Still a favorite and she plays with them constantly.

Durable and versatile set
My Australian Shepherd loves ropes and these have been strong and varied in size. They stand up to regular play and are great for tug sessions and chewing.

A lifesaver for puppy teeth
Came with three ropes (two long, one short) and two rolls of waste bags — a nice surprise living in an apartment. The ropes have held up to my puppy’s sharp teeth with no obvious wear so far. This was a great inexpensive find for a teething puppy.

Rarely give five stars, but impressed!
My hound turned one and this was a gift — she’s an extreme chewer and these have been impressively sturdy. Great for tugging and chewing without seeming dangerous. She has a blast growling and tugging; if your pup is medium to large and loves rough play, these are worth it.

Solid value for a tough chewer
I got the three-pack and my black Lab, who destroys toys, actually keeps these around for weeks. She plays nonstop with them. Eventually the braid began to loosen so I tossed the worst ones, but they did a great job keeping her off my couch. Good durability for the price, just watch for fraying.

Saved the day — big fun for my pup
These arrived just when my dog needed toys and he was thrilled. We played tug for hours. Some strings loosened after heavy play, and they’re a bit large for a medium dog’s mouth, but they were safe and lots of fun.
