Back expansion — The carrier features an upgraded rear extension that increases the internal floor width to roughly 20 inches when unzipped, giving your pet a noticeably larger activity area. The expanding section is constructed from breathable nylon mesh so animals stay ventilated and can enter or exit when the back panel is opened.

Airflow and vents — Ventilation is addressed with three front vents (each about 0.75 inches in diameter) built into the bubble face, plus four holes on each side and an additional side access window to make getting in and out easier. These openings promote continuous air circulation while your pet is inside.

Clear window — The transparent front bubble is molded from polycarbonate (PC), offering a wide field of view for pets and letting owners keep an eye on them without disturbance. The rigid window also helps the carrier hold its shape and lets animals look around during travel.

Included pads and weight — The package contains two removable mats: a supportive base insert and a thicker, double-sided rectangular mat with a soft short-plush surface for comfort. The backpack itself is lightweight at under 2 pounds, making it convenient for daily outings, hikes, vet visits, and other travel.

Suitable animals and care — Designed for a broad range of small animals, this carrier fits rabbits, guinea pigs, squirrels, bearded dragons, lizards, tortoises, ball pythons, ducks, sugar gliders, ferrets and similar-sized pets. Both mats can be washed by hand or machine for easy cleanup.

VerdictThis lightweight, expandable pet backpack delivers good airflow, visibility through a rigid PC bubble, and extra room when extended — ideal for many small species. It comes with two washable mats for comfort, but a few users reported zipper problems, so handle closures gently and inspect hardware before long trips.

Zipper failed

Cute design but the zipper broke after only the second use.

Finally relaxed

My rescued rabbit used to hate carriers but settled into this one quickly. He naps inside and explores without chewing through the fabric — sturdy and rabbit-approved.

Versatile and comfortable

Great option for small pets on the go. Rigid base support under the soft bed keeps shape, side access is handy, straps adjust well and it isn't heavy. Good value overall.
