Blue Diamond 10" Diamond-Infused Ceramic Frying Pan (10-inch, Blue)
Product description
This is a 10-inch frying pan finished in a blue exterior and fitted with Blue Diamond’s diamond-reinforced ceramic nonstick coating. The surface is formulated to be free of PFAS, PFOA, lead and cadmium, and is promoted as tougher and longer-lasting than many standard ceramic finishes.
The body is built on a heavy forged base designed to resist warping and maintain stable contact with the burner. Real diamond particles are claimed to improve thermal conduction so the pan heats quickly and spreads heat evenly across the cooking surface. The pan accepts stovetop-to-oven use and is rated safe under the broiler up to 600°F.
A riveted stainless steel handle gives a secure grip and helps keep the handle cooler during normal use. The underside often shows a cobalt-blue finish. The skillet is suitable for gas, electric and glass cooktops; it is not compatible with induction. It’s dishwasher safe for convenient cleanup, though handwashing and gentle tools extend surface life.
For best results, use moderate heat, a small amount of oil or butter if desired, and silicone, wooden, or plastic utensils to reduce wear. While the coating is marketed as metal-utensil tolerant, minimizing abrasive contact and extreme temperatures will help maintain release over time.
Pros
- Diamond-reinforced ceramic coating with rapid, even heating
- Oven- and broiler-safe up to 600°F; dishwasher-friendly
- Sturdy forged base with comfortable riveted stainless handle
Cons
- Not compatible with induction cooktops

VerdictA sturdy 10-inch ceramic skillet that heats quickly and offers strong initial nonstick release. Best cared for with moderate heat and gentle utensils — great for everyday frying and oven use up to 600°F. Not compatible with induction cooktops.

Eggs stuck without oil
Well constructed and heats quickly, but my over-easy eggs stuck when I tried without oil on low heat. Fine for scrambled eggs or anything with a little oil, but won’t eliminate cooking fat for me.

Excellent ceramic skillet — pros and cons
Pros: tough diamond-reinforced coating, free of PFAS/PFOA/lead/cadmium, fast and even heating, oven and dishwasher compatible. Cons: not induction-friendly. A dependable everyday skillet overall.

Our go-to stovetop skillet
Exactly what we hoped for: well made with a riveted stainless handle and attractive blue underside. I lightly seasoned it with oil before first use, and it wipes clean after cooking. I avoid dishwashing and just towel it out. We stick to wood and plastic tools to keep the surface looking new.

I enjoy them despite imperfections
I own several pieces and like them a lot. Coatings wear over time—no nonstick lasts forever—but I still prefer these for lower-toxicity cookware. I dinged one pan by accident and it affected the finish, but that was my fault.

Reliable everyday nonstick skillet
Heats evenly, has an excellent nonstick finish, and is easy to clean. Lightweight yet feels durable, and the PFAS-free coating is a nice feature. A solid choice for daily use.

My first ceramic pan — pleasantly surprised
Food stopped sticking after switching from heavy oil cast iron. A quick spray of avocado oil gives an excellent release. The thicker stamped aluminum base feels sturdy and resists warping; just don’t crank the flame above medium-low to avoid stressing the materials.

Nonstick deteriorated in a month
Worked wonderfully at first, especially for eggs. I used silicone and wood tools, low to medium heat, and olive oil. After about a month the surface lost much of its release. Disappointing given careful use.

Outstanding performance after months
I use this weekly for seven months and it’s been excellent. I follow the maker’s directions, use silicone spatulas and a tiny bit of oil, preheat briefly, and eggs and pancakes slide right out. Only minor scuffs on the outer bottom from the burner.

Very hard coating and super smooth
Great pan — after a few months of use there are no visible user marks or scratches, still looks like new and performs smoothly.

Does the job, initial odor
There was a noticeable smell during the first couple of uses, but after that it’s been good. Still hasn’t stuck and I avoid the dishwasher to protect the finish.

Stopped being nonstick after two months
The nonstick worked for about two months and then everything began to stick. It still looks fine cosmetically, but it no longer performs as a nonstick pan for me.

Truly nonstick ceramic pan
This diamond ceramic pan performs very well — nothing sticks, it resists scratching and is versatile for many dishes.

Good performance if handled carefully
Used daily for breakfast for a week and I’m impressed. It’s solid out of the box, heats fast and cleans up easier than many nonstick pans. You still need to treat it gently and avoid very high heat. Pancakes and scrambled eggs slid out nicely; sweeter batters stuck a little if the pan wasn’t clean. I haven’t had a hot-handle issue and I use a slightly smaller burner than the pan.
