Mobility
Adjustable Tilt Overbed Bedside Table on Wheels for Hospital & Home
Product description
This overbed bedside table is built for hospital and home use and is commonly recommended for patients, caregivers, and anyone needing a mobile surface while in bed or seated.
The package includes a two-section tabletop (one tilting larger surface and one stationary smaller tray), a height-adjustable support column with control knob, a C-shaped base that slides under beds or chairs, and four swivel casters with locks. Fasteners and an adjustment knob are provided for assembly.
Construction relies on powder-coated heavy-gauge steel for the frame and base to resist wear and provide strength. The casters are swivel type with a locking mechanism to keep the table stable during use. The tabletop features a raised lip around each section to help contain items.
Height is adjustable to suit different bed and chair profiles — the top can be set in a range roughly between 29 and 41 inches to increase reach and maneuverability. The tilting top allows near-infinite angles in either direction via the control knob, while the small fixed tray stays level for drinks, phones, or small items.
Use cases include meals in bed, reading, using a laptop or tablet, or as a wheelchair tray when lowered. The base is designed to slide beneath a bed or couch, so confirm you have adequate under-bed clearance for proper positioning.
Pros
- Adjustable height (approx. 29–41 inches)
- Tilting main surface plus a fixed side tray
- Powder-coated steel frame with locking swivel casters
Cons
- Front lip may be too low to secure some laptops when tilted
- Trim pieces or surrounds can feel fragile on some units
- Final assembly has small parts and can be fiddly
VerdictA practical, adjustable overbed table that delivers solid utility for eating, reading and laptop use in bed or on the couch. The steel construction and locking casters give stability and mobility, and the two-part top (tilting main surface plus a fixed side tray) is versatile. Some users report fragile trim or a low front lip that may not secure larger laptops when tilted. Overall, it’s a good val

Reliable and helpful when needed
Sturdy, easy to adjust, and the tilt feature is genuinely useful.

So reliable we bought a replacement
We had one for years and used it daily until the lift lever finally failed, so we ordered another. The raised rim keeps things secure and assembly was quick—my son put it together in about 20 minutes.

Not suitable for my laptop needs
I was disappointed: the surround arrived cracked and feels fragile. The edge isn’t tall enough to keep my laptop from sliding when tilted, and the side tray is loose. It didn’t meet my needs but might be fine for others.

Great rolling side table
Bought while my wife recovered from surgery. Assembly took about 20 minutes. It rolls smoothly, adjusts easily, and delivers good value.

Great for recovery and everyday use
Bought for my partner after knee surgery — it’s stable, spacious and adjusts for bed or couch. I assembled it in under 15 minutes. Sturdy and useful for meals, laptop work and reading; we relied on it often.

Ideal bed desk after ACL surgery
After ACL surgery I needed a desk to work from bed. The dual surfaces (one tilting, one flat) and simple height adjustment made remote work possible. My 18" frame and 16" mattress still allowed the stand to reach. Installation was easy and the online video helped; watch for a tiny cover screw at the final step. Also ensure you have clearance beneath your bed.

Disappointing quality
Poor overall quality. The top pieces are uneven and the casters don’t roll well. Very disappointing for a table intended for a bed-bound person.

Solid build but some shortcomings
Used daily for about 20 days. Delivery was fast and assembly mostly easy, though the manual could be clearer for the last steps. The unit feels robust, but the low edge lets laptops slip when tilted; also the post is square rather than round like many others.

Works well as a second monitor and keyboard stand
I use this table to hold a lightweight monitor and wireless keyboard with room to spare. I add a non-slip liner and a coaster for drinks. The smaller fixed tray is handy for my mouse and a heavier book, and the raised edges keep items from rolling off. It would also be fine for meals.

Simple, functional and easy to assemble
Not hospital-grade, but more than adequate for home use. Assembly was straightforward: a wrench for bolts, screwdriver for the adjustment pin, and a mallet to seat the casters. The single lever controls both up and down and the tilt works well.
