7-Piece Vintage U.S. Coin Lot (1883–1959) — Pennies & Nickels
Product description
This offering is a seven-coin grouping of original United States circulation strikes, presented as a single collectible lot. You will receive seven U.S. coins only — no foreign pieces or modern tokens.
The set contains at least one Liberty Head (Barber) nickel produced between 1883 and 1913, a Buffalo nickel dated somewhere from 1913 to 1937, a Jefferson nickel issued between 1938 and 1959, and a wartime nickel from 1942–1945 that contains silver. The lot also includes several copper pennies (pre-1982 bronze cents) and additional nickels to bring the total to seven distinct coins.
Materials represented in the lot include bronze/copper for the pennies, standard copper-nickel alloys (approximately 75% copper/25% nickel) for the typical nickels, and the wartime nickel composition (roughly 56% copper, 35% silver, 9% manganese). Typical diameters you can expect are about 19.05 mm for the pennies and about 21.21 mm for the nickels, with individual weights near historical standards for those types.
Coins supplied are circulated collectible examples — there are no bent, holed, or dateless pieces included. This lot is intended for collectors, educators, or as a gift to introduce someone to classic U.S. coinage. Because these are circulated coins, condition ranges from modest wear to better-preserved examples; no guaranteed key-date rarities are claimed.
Pros
- Seven authentic U.S. coins spanning 1883–1959
- Includes distinct nickel types plus copper pennies
- No bent, holed, or dateless pieces
Cons
- Mostly common dates, not high-value rarities

- Few coins may show rim nicks or light damage
VerdictThis lot offers a solid, varied selection of seven historic U.S. coins suited for beginning collectors or to pad a larger collection. It contains classic nickel types and older pennies, including a silver-containing wartime nickel, and avoids bent, holed, or dateless pieces. Condition varies but items are authentic and collectible; expect common dates rather than rare keys.

Hello 3/5
Decent, but some wear
Coins are generally as expected for circulated pieces, though one Indian Head cent had two noticeable rim dings. A couple of pieces showed more wear than I hoped given the price — still a useful variety for a collection.
