TEKFUN Wooden Unicorn Train Set — 40-Piece Magnetic Railway for Kids
Product description
Complete 40-piece railway: This set includes a unicorn engine plus three magnetic carriages, a castle-style bridge, mountain tunnel, pink and natural wooden track segments, a printed play mat and a variety of themed accessories — princess, prince, unicorn, dessert cargo and assorted scenery pieces.
Smooth, child-safe materials: All components are made from solid, sanded wood with rounded edges and non-toxic paint. Wheels roll on guided grooves, magnets link the engine and cars, and the raised bridge provides a change of elevation for steady push-along movement.
How it plays: Children can arrange the track into multiple layouts, send the train through the castle and tunnel, load and unload cargo, use the figures for storytelling, and combine the road and scenery pieces for imaginative scenes.
Compatibility and growth: Track ends use standard wooden connectors so this set can be combined with most major wooden train systems to build larger networks as children’s skills and ideas expand.
Skill-building, battery-free fun: Constructing track, coupling cars, and manipulating the figures promote fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, spatial reasoning and creative play. The included mat helps set a storytelling stage for role-play and social interaction.
Pros
- Smooth, durable wooden pieces with child-safe finishes
- Magnetic cars for simple coupling and steady push play
- Works with most standard wooden train tracks
Cons
- Carry bag is lightweight and not very durable
- Track assembly can be tricky for younger children
- Included stickers and textile bag feel low-end
VerdictA well-made 40-piece wooden train kit that blends classic push-along play with magnetic car connections and themed accessories. Smooth, rounded wooden parts and standard connectors let you expand with other wooden tracks. Great for fine motor skill practice, storytelling and screen-free group play.

Perfect for two kids to play together!
I really love this little train set — it’s engaging and nicely complete for free-form play. The multiple vehicles and accessories spark lots of interaction on the rails, from the train itself to a truck, a small crane and other movable pieces that inspire varied play scenarios. Magnets add a fun transport feature and the farm animals expand imaginative possibilities, helping to build a small play world around the railway.

Solid, simple fun my son adores
We bought this big tractor-and-farm style set for our four-year-old who loves anything with wheels. He’s obsessed — the craftsmanship impressed us right away. There are loads of pieces and tiny figures, and it went together quickly even though we’re not experienced builders. The colors are bright, the pieces fit snugly, and the many components keep his imagination busy for long stretches of play.

Fun and functional with handy storage
We’re pleased with this small train collection — it comes with several accessories and kept our kids entertained. The included storage bag is a real plus: everything goes back inside for tidy cleanup, which makes storing and transporting easier. Assembly could be simpler with labeled parts for first-time builds, but overall the set is enjoyable and practical for families.

Well-made set with plenty of accessories
I purchased this 40-piece set for my daughter’s third birthday and she loves it. The wooden pieces are thick and smooth, with clear, glossy graphics. The train runs smoothly on the track and the magnets hold the cars together firmly. The included play mat helps expand pretend play. The coordinating bag is cute but feels cheaply made; still, she happily packs everything away in it.

Excellent quality and lots of variety
We got this for our train-obsessed son and it was an instant favorite. He spends hours inventing adventures with the train, trucks, animals and the magnetic fishing game. The wood pieces feel sturdy and smooth, colors are vibrant, and the tracks lock together well. The multiple accessories keep him engaged much longer than simpler toys.

Makes a wooden railway feel enchanting
This set revitalized our wooden track collection. Adding a pink castle, unicorn engine, bridge and tunnel turned a plain layout into a story-driven scene that kids want to return to. The collection of figures, trees and the mat support pretend play rather than just repetitive pushing. The 40 pieces are a good standalone set and also pair nicely with our existing wooden rails for larger configurations.

Cars track well and stay attached
I can’t think of anything to change — this set is great as-is. The wooden pieces feel safe and durable for little ones, and there are no tiny choking hazards. Colors are cheerful and the track components are easy for small hands to grasp and connect with a bit of help. The hills and raised bridge add fun, and the cars remain well-seated on the rails.

A high-quality STEM-friendly playset
As an early childhood teacher, I appreciate toys that teach while they entertain. This 57-piece farm-style train set is solid wood, well finished and free of rough edges. Moving parts work smoothly, the crane and rolling vehicles add cause-and-effect play, and the set encourages spatial thinking, cooperative play and fine motor practice in a hands-on way.

Great for a three-year-old’s playtime
I bought this for my three-year-old granddaughter and she wanted to set it up immediately. It comes with many wooden pieces, a fishing rod with magnetic fish, vehicles and lots of tracks. Directions and the box image make assembly straightforward, though the curved rails must be placed in the right orientations. Building the layout is easier for older kids, but the little one has a blast fishing and driving the train around.

A reliably fun wooden train kit
We recently bought the TEKFUN wooden train set for my son and it’s been a winner. The 57-piece configuration includes a magnetic tractor-train, farm animals and a fishing mini-game that encourages imaginative scenes. It’s held up well during daily play and offers lots of ways to interact beyond just pushing a train.

Kids mesmerized by real wood
We don’t keep many low-tech toys, but this wooden train set captured our visiting preschoolers’ attention immediately. The three-year-old kept marveling that the pieces were real wood. They played together for nearly three hours with no screens — just the train, animals and scenery. The craftsmanship is solid and the set held up to active group play.
