Charges reliably and doubles as a grip
Performs well so far. It charged an older pair of Switch (v1) Joy‑Cons and a newer set without issue. Also works as a controller grip. I prefer a heavier pad for many games, but this is nicer for fast‑finger titles like Tetris.

Joy‑Con retention is weak
The Joy‑Con won't latch and can slide out during heavy use, which is very annoying.

Charges but doesn't lock tightly
It charges fine and fits well in big hands, but the Joy‑Con slides in and doesn't lock securely.

Exactly fixed my charging need
I keep v1 Joy‑Cons for Ring Fit and needed to recharge them while owning a newer console. This solved that problem affordably and also serves as a grip while charging.

More comfortable feel for Joy‑Cons
Enjoyed the design—feels closer to a regular controller and lets you charge the Joy‑Cons while playing.
