TRX Full-Body Resistance Band — Strength Band (15–30 lb)
Product description
What’s included: One full-length TRX strength band in the full-body size. This model is labeled as providing roughly 15–30 pounds of resistance and is offered in a range of other resistances so you can choose the tension that fits your program.
Construction and size: The band is made from a high-elasticity synthetic rubber blend that stretches to enable a wide range of motion while returning consistent tension. Its length and continuous-loop/flat style (full-body size) let you anchor, step on, or loop it for many exercise variations.
How to use: Use this band to add load to bodyweight moves, to assist or intensify squats and presses, and to provide controlled tension for rows, presses, and lower-body work. It also works well for post-workout stretching, mobility drills, and progressive rehabilitation exercises.
Who it’s for: Suitable for home and gym use, this band fits beginners working on form, athletes adding accessory resistance, and clients rehabbing injuries. Its light-to-moderate resistance range is especially useful for recovery and mobility work.
Additional features: The purchase includes trial access to the TRX Training Club app, with hundreds of on-demand sessions—covering strength, cardio, mobility, cross-training, sport-specific drills, and rehab—led by TRX-certified instructors.
Pros
- Portable, full-length design for many exercise setups
- Available in multiple resistance levels for progression
- Good for rehab, mobility, and light strength work
Cons
- Some reported quality-control issues with individual bands
- Lightest resistance may be too gentle for advanced lifters
- Not a substitute for heavy free-weight loading
VerdictA versatile, portable resistance band that suits rehabilitation, mobility work, and light strength training. It’s engineered for full-range movement and comes in several tension levels so you can progress over time. Ideal for beginners and those recovering from injury; heavier lifters may find it best as an accessory rather than a primary load.

Didn’t work for me
Wouldn’t stretch and snapped immediately—worthless in my experience.

Possible defect with the green band
Bought a set last year and stored them indoors. When I opened them recently the green band had stuck to itself and showed mold—unsafe to use. Everything else was fine. That’s why I deducted a star.

Underused but powerful

Highly recommended for rehab and travel
A practitioner introduced me to these during recovery and I bought several tensions. Lower resistances are great for learning form and surprisingly challenging when you shorten the slack. They pack up small for travel and work well for strength, form work, and flexibility.

Perfect for beginners
Ideal light resistance for recovery. Heavy bands were too much coming back from injury; this one is just right.

A versatile go-to for full-body sessions
This band quickly became a staple in my routine whether I train at home or at the gym. It provides a wide variety of movements to challenge many muscle groups and feels sturdy during tough sets. The adjustable nature and several tension options make it suitable for beginners and advanced users alike, and it tucks into my bag for travel. Great for strength, stretching, and mobility.
